About Us: Beyond Ed is dedicated to supporting children and young adults who are navigating behavioral challenges and transitioning from correctional detention centers. Our mission is to provide guidance, mentorship, and motivational support to help them reintegrate into society and lead fulfilling lives. 

Role Overview: 

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to join our team as counselors, social workers, and motivational speakers. In this role, you will coach and mentor children and young adults, helping them develop positive behaviors, build self-esteem, and set achievable goals for their future. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to address behavioral issues and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement personalized action plans to support each individual’s reintegration process.
• Conduct motivational workshops and activities to inspire and empower participants.
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to create a supportive and nurturing environment.
• Monitor progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines. 

Qualifications: 

• Background in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with behavioral challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others. Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.
• Commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
